Fissure is the disease in which linear ulcer is form at anal canal extending from dentate line to the anal verge. This is mainly form due to mechanical force. When initial stool is big in size or hard, then while passing through the anus mucosal skin at anus get stretch out or sometimes it tears. This linear wound get fresh out repeatedly after some days of interval. That is secondary inflammation over fissure wound. Antibiotics taken can give temporary relief from inflammation and pain. Generally prescribe antibiotic for fissure is antimicrobial with antiamoebic. Combination of ornifazole and ofloxacin is good.

But due to these antibiotics can never heals. For permanent cure one has to to clean the wound under anaesthesia. Resistance between fecal matter and anal space has to be reduced for permanent cure. Space must be get dilated at the time of defecation.
